Dear God,
So far today, I've done alright.
I haven't gossiped,
lost my temper,
been greedy or grumpy,
been nasty, selfish or over-indulgent.
I'm very thankful for that.
But, in a few minutes, God,
I'm going to get out of bed.
And from then on,
I'm probably going to need
A LOT MORE HELP!!
Amen

Important Days We Sometimes Miss
Everyone has days in their lives that are important to them. Anniversaries, Birthdays, Graduations, Deaths of Loved Ones. Is any one of them more important than the other? That would depend on who you ask, obviously.
To a spouse who is deeply in love with the other spouse - (I say this because, Face It! - not EVERYone who's married is in love with their spouse!!). an Anniversary would probably be the most important day to them. To a college student, Graduation Day would be the most important, probably, at that thime in their lives. But seldom will you find two people who denote the same day as the most important day to them both.
Today is an important day for us, (from my point of view). Ask someone else and to them it might not be. It is our oldest daughter's 24th Birthday, and for the first time in a couple of years, we won't get to see, or be with her on her birthday. So we are taking this time to tell her how much we love her, we miss her, and hope she has a great time at whatever she does, and has the BEST Birthday that she's ever had!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY!! We love you bunches and have a GREAT day. Be safe.

Living with Diabetes or with people who have Diabetes can be hard. Especially if the disease has just been diagnosed, or you've been told that you may be pre-diabetic prone. Rest assured, even though you may feel like it's the end of the world and you don't know where to turn, it's not. There is help out there, there are people who care and will help you, and it doesn't have to cost you a fortune.
God & Family
God is what we are about. He is the center of our universe and the reason we are. I know that won't make sense to alot of people, but it will to a bunch. Family is the next most important thing. Make sure you tell yours' every day how much you love and care for them, because you never know just how long you will have them in your life. It won't hurt you, or kill you, to tell them that you love them & that they mean everything to you. Who knows, it could be you that dies, and NOT THEM. WILL YOU HAVE REGRETS?????
